2008 Northern Kentucky Bodybuilding & Figure Championships

The 30th annual "Beverly International" NPC Northern Kentucky Bodybuilding & Figure Championship was held March 22, 2008 at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington, KY.

This event has become one of the top ten amateur bodybuilding/figure events in the United States. 250 individual competitors from 18 states were presented on stage and more than 2000 fans attended the evening finals. Another 1000 were at the morning prejudging. Sportsmanship, camaraderie, superb organization and a respectful audience that cheered their friends and loved ones made this a story book event that everyone looks forward to year after year.

The highlight of the show was the atmosphere of helpfulness and encouragement among the competitors, audience, and crew. More than $20,000 of ticket proceeds from the evening show was donated to Shriner's Hospitals for Children. Even the competitors got into the charitable spirit with their own donation of personal care items for children at the Kentucky School for the Blind.
